Adult Umpire Clinics

The first step to becoming a women's lacrosse umpire is to attend a New Umpire Clinic. 

Adult Umpire Beginner Clinics are for prospective umpires 18 years of age or older and out of high school. No prior umpiring experience is required. These clinics include 8 hours of classroom instruction in 3 or 4 sessions.  Completing the course, passing a 3-4 hour field rating session, joining US Lacrosse and joining EMWLUA earns the participant an Apprentice Rating.

Each clinic has it's own schedule (with different dates and times), so be sure to read the course descriptions carefully.  Space in each clinic is limited, and you must attend all meetings.

    This is a Sign Up Opportunity for those interested in becoming a Girls Lacrosse Referee in the Spring 2020.  Specific details will not be available until Jan 2020.  We will contact you when Registration opens for Spring Clinics.


    No prior umpiring experience is required.  Clinics include up to 8 hours of classroom instruction and on-field trainings.  Completing the course, passing a 3-4 hour field rating session, joining US Lacrosse and EMWLUA earns Adult participants an Apprentice Rating, and HS students a Junior Rating.
